Create design onlineAbout Supertunia® Silver Petunia
Supertunia® Silver is a white-flowered annual petunia with small blooms and a strongly trailing, mounded habit. It grows about 4–12 inches tall and can trail up to 36 inches, so it suits hanging baskets, window boxes, and the front of sunny beds. [Proven Winners' plant profile](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/petunia/supertunia-silver-petunia) describes its compact height and long trailing stems.
## Garden use
Use this white selection as a container spiller or a low, spreading accent near the front of a border. It flowers from spring through fall and is listed for part sun to sun. Its mature spread is 24–36 inches; leave room for stems to cascade over an edge.
## Growing notes
Keep soil evenly moist and avoid severe wilting. Proven Winners notes that spent blooms do not need to be removed and recommends a midsummer trim only when stems become uneven or the plant needs fresh growth.
## Maintenance
Water consistently during active growth, especially in containers, and feed as directed for annual petunias. Trim selectively if the trailing stems become untidy; routine deadheading is unnecessary.
