About Supertunia Vista® Snowdrift™ Petunia

Supertunia Vista® Snowdrift™ is a vigorous white petunia with a mounding habit and trailing stems. Its flowers brighten large containers and sunny landscape beds, where the plant can fill space and spill over edges. ## Form and placement Proven Winners lists Snowdrift at 12 inches to 2 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide; its stems may trail up to 4 feet by late season in baskets and containers. It flowers in spring, summer, and fall and is listed for hardiness zones 10–11. The [Snowdrift plant page](https://c4.provenwinners.com/plants/petunia/supertunia-vista-snowdrift-petunia) identifies the selection as BBTUN04401 (USPP 32,687; Canada 6,550), describes its white flowers, and notes its appeal to butterflies and hummingbirds. ## Growing conditions Grow in full sun to part sun and use fertile, well-drained soil. Water consistently while the plant is establishing and during hot weather, especially in large containers where the root ball can dry between waterings. Leave room for trailing growth and use it as a large-scale spiller or a bright border accent. ## Maintenance Deadheading is unnecessary for continued flowering. If stems become too long or uneven, trim them back modestly and feed afterward to support fresh growth. Keep containers draining freely and replace plants after frost where petunias do not overwinter outdoors.
