About Betty® Dark Blue - Sutera

Betty® Dark Blue is a blue-flowered selection in Green Fuse Botanicals’ Sutera (Bacopa) Betty® series. The series is grown for branching plants with flowers distributed across the plant and for use in mixed containers. ### Growing Conditions Green Fuse lists garden height of 3–5 inches and width of 12–18 inches for the Betty® series, with spring and fall production seasons. The crop guide recommends medium to medium-high light and a cool ambient temperature around 58–70°F. Let the growing medium dry slightly between irrigations, but do not allow it to remain consistently wet; excessive dryness can also interrupt flowering. The guide gives an optimum growing-medium pH of 5.6–5.9. It recommends pinching once or twice after transplant to encourage branching. The Dark Blue selection is identified on Green Fuse’s Betty® page and is represented in the series culture sheet. Pinch once or twice after transplant to encourage branching.
