Create design onlineAbout Kolmcan Candy™ Coralberry
Kolmcan Candy™ Coralberry is a compact, arching shrub grown for pink summer flowers and candy-pink berries. The berries ripen in early fall and remain on the stems through winter, extending interest after the foliage drops.
## Garden Use and Form
Use the shrub near the front of a border or plant it in a group, allowing about 2–2½ feet of height and 2½–3 feet of spread. The breeder also notes that the fruiting stems can be used in cut-flower arrangements. The berries are ornamental and should not be eaten.
## Growing Conditions
Plant in full sun for flowering and fruit display. The breeder lists the selection for USDA Zones 4–9. Its compact arching branches make a rounded foreground accent, while the persistent berries provide a visible fall and winter feature.
## Maintenance
Prune to balance the shape in early spring. Follow the breeder's medium-water guidance while the plant establishes and during dry periods, and leave some fruiting stems intact if winter display is desired. [First Editions plant profile](https://firsteditionsplants.com/product/candy-coralberry/).
