Bush cherry

Syzygium paniculatum, known as the Magenta Lilly Pilly, is a dense, bushy evergreen tree or shrub native to Australia. It is highly valued for its glossy green foliage and striking bronze-red new growth. In summer, it produces clusters of fluffy white flowers followed by edible, vibrant magenta berries. Its compact habit makes it an excellent choice for hedges, screens, or topiary. It thrives in well-drained soil and prefers full sun to partial shade in frost-free climates.
