Marvel II™ Orange African Marigold

Marvel II™ Orange African marigold is an upright Tagetes erecta selection with bright orange flowers and sturdy stems. Ball Seed identifies the named selection with code PAS1363448 and describes it as an intermediate-type African marigold with improved branching, early flowering, and large blooms. ## Size and placement Plants grow about 16–18 inches tall and 10–12 inches wide, with 8–10 inches of spacing. Set them in a sunny annual bed or container where their warm color can carry through the growing season. The breeder lists flowering from early spring through late summer and an upright habit. ## Growing conditions Provide full sun and moderate water. Regular moisture supports active growth, especially in containers and during warm weather. The breeder's [plant information page](https://www.ballseed.com/PlantInfo/?phid=040708762003789) provides the selection code, flower season, exposure, height, width, and spacing. ## Care Check soil moisture regularly and water when the surface begins to dry. Remove spent flowers as needed to keep plantings tidy, and allow spacing between plants for air movement and mature width. This tender annual is grown for seasonal color rather than a permanent landscape structure. ## Maintenance
