Bonanza™ Bee French Marigold

Bonanza™ Bee is an upright French marigold in the Bonanza series, with double flowers described as mahogany edged in yellow. The compact plant suits sunny beds, borders, and containers, and flowers across the warm season. ## Flowering and form PanAmerican lists spring, late spring, summer, and late summer flowering, with a mature height of about 10–12 inches and a spread of 6–8 inches. Its upright habit and double-crested blooms make it suitable for a low, colorful planting or cutting. ## Site and soil Grow in full sun. Tagetes patula is suited to well-drained garden soil, and the wider species is used in borders, containers, and cut-flower plantings. ## Maintenance Water during establishment and dry spells, allowing excess water to drain. Remove faded flowers to keep the plant neat and support a longer display.
