Durango® Orange French Marigold

Durango® Orange is an upright French marigold with vivid orange, anemone-type flowers and strong branching stems. PanAmerican Seed’s [product profile](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/040800470003789/french-marigold-durango-orange/) identifies selection PAS97727 and lists a mature size of 10–12 inches high by 6–8 inches wide, with flowering from spring through late summer. ## Landscape Use The compact plant fits the front of sunny annual beds, edging, and containers. Its abundant blooms create a concentrated block of color, while the narrow spread makes it useful where a small footprint is needed. ## Growing Conditions Plant after frost in a sunny position with freely draining soil. Space plants about 6–10 inches apart, matching the breeder’s guidance to the fuller or more open effect desired. Water consistently while plants establish and during prolonged dry weather, without leaving the soil saturated. ## Maintenance Pinch or remove spent flower heads to keep plants tidy and encourage further flowering. Remove plants when frost ends the display, and clear old stems from the bed before replanting.
