Create design onlineAbout Hot Pak™ Gold French Marigold
Hot Pak™ Gold is a mounded, extra-dwarf French marigold that flowers through spring and summer. Its PAS1077384 patent describes yellow ray florets with mahogany/orange markings and yellow-orange disk florets, so the flowers bring a warm bicolor effect rather than a plain gold tone. ## Garden Use
Plants grow about 6–7 inches tall and 6–8 inches wide. Use them in a sunny border or edging, in containers, or in repeated mass plantings. PanAmerican describes the Hot Pak series as selected for continuing summer bloom under high temperature and humidity while maintaining a compact habit. ## Growing Conditions
Give the plants full sun or part shade and average, well-drained soil that stays evenly moist. Ball rates water need as medium. French marigolds attract pollinators and have fragrant flowers and foliage; deer resistance and drought tolerance after establishment are noted for the species. ## Maintenance
Water regularly as young roots establish and during extended dry weather. Containers need more frequent checks in warm weather; ensure they drain well. Remove faded blooms to support continued flowering and keep the planting tidy.
