Create design onlineAbout Tempting Tomatoes Garden Treasure Tomato
Garden Treasure is an indeterminate slicer tomato in the Tempting Tomatoes line, bred for balanced, heirloom-style flavor alongside modern disease resistance and productive harvests. Red fruit ripens in roughly 70–75 days after transplant, with harvest continuing over an extended period when conditions remain favorable.
## Garden Use
The upright plant reaches about 34–48 inches tall and spreads 12–20 inches. Its fruit is suited to fresh slicing, salads, sandwiches, and preserving. It can grow in a garden bed or a large container, though the vigorous stems need a sturdy cage or stake.
## Growing Conditions
Choose a full-sun site and fertile soil. Consistent moisture helps avoid excessive drying, especially through hot weather and active fruit production. The cultivar is noted for heat tolerance and performs in warm, humid conditions; it is grown as an annual outside its listed frost-free range.
## Maintenance
Set transplants out after frost danger has passed and space plants roughly 24–30 inches apart. Support the main stems as they grow, water consistently, and fertilize regularly to sustain flowering and fruiting.
