Whipcord Western Red Cedar

Thuja plicata 'Whipcord' is a distinctive dwarf conifer known for its unusual mop-like appearance and pendulous, cord-like foliage. This slow-growing evergreen forms a flattened mound when young, eventually reaching a height and spread of four to five feet. Its glossy green branches arch gracefully and take on attractive bronze tones during the winter months. Ideal for rock gardens, containers, or as a specimen plant, it thrives in moist, well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade.
