Elfin Creeping Thyme

Thymus serpyllum 'Elfin' is a miniature, woody-based perennial that forms an incredibly dense, flat mat of tiny, aromatic, gray-green leaves. Reaching only one to two inches in height, this slow-growing cultivar is prized for its ability to tolerate light foot traffic, making it an ideal filler for crevices between pavers or stepping stones. In summer, it produces a profusion of lavender-pink flowers that attract pollinators. It thrives in full sun and well-drained, gritty soil, showing excellent drought tolerance once established.
