Mauve Creeping Thyme

Grows in a dense, flat mat that can compete with weeds. Late spring to early summer the mat turns from rich green leaves to a profusion of tiny pink flowers. Attracts pollinators and can be evergreen. Tolerates rocky/sandy soil, air pollution, and mild traffic. Leaves have a distinctive thyme scent. Great for use between stepping stones, in containers, rock walls and along borders.
