Tillandsia utriculata is a magnificent tank epiphyte known for its impressive size and ability to hold up to a liter of water in its leaf axils. This monocarpic bromeliad features a large rosette of light green to gray-green leaves that can reach over two feet in length. It produces a spectacular, branching flower spike that can soar up to six feet tall before the plant completes its life cycle. Native to Florida and the Caribbean, it thrives in bright, indirect light.
