Toucan® Yellow Canna Lily

Toucan® Yellow is an upright canna lily with sunny yellow flowers above lush green foliage. This vigorous selection thrives in heat, flowers through summer, and brings bold height to containers or warm-climate borders. ## Cultivar and size The [Proven Winners selection profile](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/canna/toucan-yellow-canna-lily-canna-generalis) lists 30–48 inches tall by 18–24 inches wide, true yellow flowers, deep green foliage, bloom from planting to frost, part sun to sun, and zones 8–11. It describes the selection as heat tolerant and adaptable to damp or relatively dry soil. ## Siting Plant in part sun or full sun. Average moisture is suitable; consistent moisture supports the best display, though established plants tolerate short periods of standing water and relatively dry soil. Use it as a container thriller or tropical border plant. ## Maintenance Deadheading is not needed to keep it flowering through summer, but removing seed pods can improve appearance. In containers, apply controlled-release fertilizer and supplement midsummer if needed.
