Tamarisk

This fast-growing columnar cactus, native to the Andes, features striking bluish-green stems with six to eight rounded ribs. It typically reaches heights of ten to twenty feet, often branching from the base to form a majestic, tree-like silhouette. In summer, it produces massive, fragrant white flowers that open at night, followed by small green fruits. Highly adaptable and drought-tolerant, it thrives in well-draining soil and full sun, making it a centerpiece for xeriscapes.
