Frontier Elm

The 'Frontier' Elm is a medium-sized deciduous hybrid known for its upright, pyramidal habit that matures into a vase-like crown. It features small, lustrous dark green leaves that transition to a spectacular reddish-purple or burgundy hue in autumn, a rarity among elms. Highly resistant to Dutch Elm Disease and elm leaf beetle, it thrives in full sun and adapts well to urban conditions, including poor soils and pollution. It serves as an excellent street or shade tree for modern landscapes.
