Bold perennial with large velvety silver-green foliage. Pastel shades of lavender, buff cream, and rose with purple stamens are atop towering spikes held well above the foliage. Prefers alkaline, well-draining soils. This is a short lived perennial normally living 2-3 years. Leave a few flower spikes to facilitate self-seeding.
