About Temari® Patio Red Verbena

Temari® Patio Red Verbena is a compact, trailing selection with vivid red to orange-red flower clusters. Its spring-to-fall bloom and cascading stems suit hanging baskets, window boxes, patio pots, and the front edge of a sunny bed. ### Size and placement Allow about 6–12 inches of height and 18–36 inches of spread, and give the stems room to spill over a container edge. It can also cover the soil at the front of a sunny border. The flowers are held in dense clusters above toothed green leaves. ### Growing conditions Plant in full sun and use a freely draining mix. Water regularly after planting and keep container roots from drying hard during active growth; the nursery profile describes regular water needs after establishment. The foliage is evergreen only in mild climates, so seasonal performance depends on winter conditions. [Urban Tree Farm Nursery](https://www.urbantreefarm.com/product/verbena-x-temari-patio-red/) lists the cultivar’s size, exposure, flower color, and bloom period; [Emerisa Gardens](https://www.emerisa.com/plant/vertpr4/verbena-hybrid-temari-patio-red-glandularia-temari-patio-red) also describes its full-sun, long-flowering container habit. ## Maintenance Check pots frequently in warm, sunny weather and water when the mix begins to dry. Remove damaged stems and trim the trailing growth lightly if it overruns the container or neighboring plants.
