Vanessa™ Compact Lime Verbena

Vanessa™ Compact Lime is a Verbena hortensis selection in Danziger’s Vanessa™ Compact series. Its lime-named flowers and compact, well-branched habit fit pots, hanging baskets, ground cover, and landscape plantings. ### Flowers and habit Danziger lists early flowering, single medium flowers, and a compact growth habit. The Lime product profile gives mature dimensions of about 8 inches high by 12 inches wide, with feature ranges of 6–8 inches tall and 10–14 inches wide. The breeder describes the series as holding color into summer heat and reports selection for powdery mildew tolerance. ### Placement and care The product is listed for pots, hanging baskets, ground cover, and landscape use. Leave room for its low, branching shape to fill outward. In a pot or basket, provide drainage and check the growing mix regularly during warm weather. Consult the [Lime product profile](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/vanessa-compact-lime/) and [Vanessa Compact series profile](https://www.danzigeronline.com/series_annuals/vanessa-compact/) for the published features. For general verbena care, the RHS recommends full sun and well-drained soil ([RHS growing guide](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/verbena/growing-guide)). ## Maintenance Trim lightly to keep the outline within its space and remove faded or damaged growth while tidying. Container-grown plants benefit from regular moisture checks during warm, dry periods.
