The RHS also notes that verbena flowers attract bees and butterflies. These are general genus-level growing recommendations; choose the exact plant’s location based on its published habit and available space. A sunny position supports flowering, while free-draining soil helps keep roots from sitting in excess moisture. ## Maintenance Water during establishment and check containers more often during warm, dry weather. Let excess water drain freely, and remove faded flower clusters if you want to keep the display neat.
