About Eastern Snowball Bush

Viburnum opulus is a vigorous, deciduous shrub with a rounded, spreading habit, typically reaching heights of four to five meters. It features distinctive three-lobed, maple-like leaves that transition from dark green to a striking purplish-red in autumn. In late spring, it produces flat-topped lacecap white flowers, followed by drooping clusters of bright red berries. Ideal for woodland gardens, hedges, or wildlife borders, it thrives in moist, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade.
