About Sorbet® XP Morpho Viola

Sorbet® XP Morpho is a compact, mounded horned violet for cool-season beds and containers. Its bicolored flowers shift toward blue in cool spring conditions, while PanAmerican Seed lists flowering from early spring through late spring, late summer, autumn, and winter. ## Growing conditions Grow in sun or partial sun in moist, humusy, well-drained soil. The species profile notes that horned violets favor cooler weather and may pause flowering during summer heat. Plants are about 6–8 inches tall and wide. ## Uses Use Morpho in bedding, borders, small containers, or as seasonal ground cover. The mounded habit fills space neatly while flowering. ## Maintenance Keep soil evenly moist without allowing it to remain waterlogged. Deadheading can encourage additional buds; cutting plants back after a flowering period may allow another flush when cooler temperatures return.
