About Sorbet® XP Pink Halo Viola

Sorbet® XP Pink Halo is a compact, mounded horned violet for cool-season beds and containers. PanAmerican Seed lists flowering from early spring through late spring, late summer, autumn, and winter, with plants about 6–8 inches tall and wide. ## Growing conditions Grow in sun or partial sun in moist, humusy, well-drained soil. Horned violets generally flower best in cooler weather and may pause when summer heat persists. The Sorbet XP series is described as staying compact in both heat and cold. ## Uses Plant Pink Halo in bedding, borders, containers, or as seasonal ground cover. Its mounded growth makes it useful along path edges and in small planting pockets. ## Maintenance Keep soil moist with good drainage. Remove spent flowers to encourage further buds, and cut plants back after a flowering flush if renewed bloom is desired when cooler temperatures return.
