Create design onlineAbout Sorbet® XP White Viola
These compact, mounded horned violets bring a seasonal display to garden beds and containers. The White selection brings the series’ mounded habit to spring and autumn garden displays.
## Garden Use
Plant them in borders, containers, bedding displays, or as low ground cover at the front of a planting. Sorbet® XP violas are bred for a compact habit and garden performance in spring and autumn. PanAmerican gives a mature height and spread of 6–8 inches for this selection.
## Siting and Care
Choose full sun to part shade and humusy, moist, well-drained soil. The listed flowering periods include early spring, spring, late spring, late summer, autumn, and winter; flowering may slow during sustained summer heat. Bees, butterflies, and other pollinators visit the flowers. Deadhead spent blooms and cut plants back after flowering when conditions support renewed growth. See [PanAmerican Seed selection details](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/064005624005863/viola-sorbet-xp-white/) and [NC State Extension growing guidance](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/viola-cornuta/common-name/horned-violet/).
## Maintenance
Keep the soil consistently moist but well drained. Remove spent flowers and trim tired growth to encourage a fresh flush when temperatures cool.
