Cool Wave White Spreading Pansy

Cool Wave White is a spreading pansy for cool-season containers and garden beds. PanAmerican Seed notes that its white blooms can show a slight blue tint, so flowers may vary subtly as they open and age. ## Growing conditions The [PanAmerican product page](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/046706339005863/spreading-pansy-cool-wave-white/) identifies this selection’s spreading, trailing habit, 5a–11 hardiness range, and flowering in early spring, spring, autumn, and winter. It lists full sun and garden uses including patio planters and groundcover. North Carolina State Extension’s [pansy guide](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/viola-x-wittrockiana/) recommends full sun to partial shade and humus-rich soil that stays moist but drains well. ## Maintenance Deadhead faded blooms to encourage continued flowering and keep the soil evenly moist. Pansies are cool-season annuals; replace them when sustained summer heat brings the display to an end.
