Matrix® Solar Flare Pansy

Matrix® Solar Flare is a mounded, extra-large-flowered pansy bred for a compact, even display in cool-season beds and containers. Ball Seed lists plants about 8 inches tall and 8–10 inches wide, flowering from early spring through spring, autumn, and winter. ### Garden Use Use the strong stems and generous flowers for color in window boxes, patio pots, edging, or massed beds. The Matrix series is selected for uniform timing and habit; Solar Flare blooms can show more red in cool weather and more yellow in warmer conditions. ### Growing Conditions Grow in partial sun to full sun and provide medium moisture. Leave about 8 inches between plants for a full planting while allowing air around the foliage. ## Maintenance Water consistently as plants establish, especially in containers, and feed every two weeks as recommended by Ball Seed. Remove faded flowers to keep the display neat. [Ball Seed: Matrix Solar Flare](https://info.ballseed.com/PlantInfo/?phid=046704283010751).
