Star Starbright Mixture Zinnia

Star Starbright is a low, branching zinnia seed selection with white and orange star-shaped flowers and yellow centers. Its informal plants flower through summer into fall and bring a bright, mixed-color effect to beds and containers. ## Garden Uses Use the compact plants in a sunny bed, basket, or mixed container, allowing room for the branches to fill around neighboring plants. PanAmerican Seed lists a 14 in. height and 8 in. spread and notes that the selection tolerates heat, humidity, and drought. ## Growing Conditions Grow in full sun and avoid overwatering once established. This mixed-color selection can show variation in its flowers from plant to plant. ## Maintenance Water during prolonged dry periods while plants establish and remove faded blooms to keep the planting tidy.
