Flame Seedless is an early table grape with red, seedless fruit, crisp texture, and mild, sweet flavor. The vigorous vine is grown for its large clusters and medium berries.
## Growing Conditions
Give the vine full sun for fruit production and train it along a sturdy trellis or fence. Water newly planted vines regularly as their roots establish; avoid wetting the foliage when irrigating. ## Garden Use
Use Flame Seedless for fresh eating. UC Davis records the selection as a red table grape, and Oregon State describes its fruit as crisp and mildly sweet. Fruit color and ripening time vary with climate and exposure, so harvest when berries are ripe rather than relying on color alone.
## Maintenance
Train the vine to its support and prune annually during dormancy, using a cane- or spur-pruning system suited to the trellis. Keep the canopy open for light and airflow.
