The breeder lists USDA hardiness zones 9a–11b; in colder climates it can be brought indoors for winter. Its 36-inch spread is a useful spacing guide, while the existing one-meter width is a reasonable rounded catalog measurement. ## Foliage and seasonal care The plant is primarily grown for foliage; its small green spring flowers are hidden and not showy. Trim as needed to maintain the chosen outline, or let it develop as a low-branching shrub.
