Waxwing™ Lime is the Proven Winners name for Coprosma repens 'NGCOP6' (USPP 29,826), an evergreen mirror bush selected for glossy, variegated leaves. The foliage combines green and yellow with mahogany-purple tones; the listed mature size is 12–30 inches tall by 36 inches wide. The breeder lists USDA hardiness zones 9a–11b and suggests bringing it indoors for winter in colder climates. The published 36-inch spread is a spacing guide; the existing one-meter width is a reasonable rounded catalog measurement. ## Foliage and seasonal care Waxwing Lime is mainly valued for its evergreen foliage. Its small green spring flowers are hidden among the leaves and are not showy. Trim as needed through the season to shape it, or allow it to form a low-branching shrub.
