This unique alpine-type bleeding heart forms a compact, mounded clump of fine, fern-like blue-green foliage. Unlike traditional woodland varieties, this cultivar thrives in full sun and requires well-drained soil, making it ideal for rock gardens, sunny borders, or container planters. It produces clusters of two-tone pink, heart-shaped flowers from late spring through fall. This hardy perennial is deer-resistant and attracts pollinators but cannot tolerate heavy clay.
