A beautiful flowering vine which can easily cover an arbor or pergola, creating a cool, shady place. Prune in early spring to encourage a show of fragrant purple cascades that turn to interesting seed pods. Kentucky wisteria are less aggressive than Asian varieties but still need sturdy support.
