About Joshua Tree

Yucca brevifolia, the legendary Joshua Tree, is a slow-growing evergreen succulent native to the Mojave Desert. It features a distinctive tree-like habit with a stout, fibrous trunk and a crown of many widely forking branches. The stiff, bayonet-shaped leaves are dark green with serrated margins, forming dense rosettes at branch tips. In spring, it produces creamy white flower panicles pollinated exclusively by the yucca moth. This hardy species thrives in full sun and well-drained, arid soils.
