Zesty™ Yellow Zinnia

Zesty Yellow is a mounded, double-flowered Zinnia elegans annual with a compact garden habit. Ball lists plants at 18–24 inches tall and wide, with flowering from late spring through autumn. ## Garden use Use this selection in a sunny annual border, mixed planting, or container where a rounded mound fits the space. The [Ball Zesty Yellow profile](https://info.ballseed.com/PlantInfo/?phid=065703698006060) lists containers and borders and describes fully double flowers. ## Growing conditions Provide full sun and well-drained soil; loam or soil with organic matter is suitable. Ball rates water needs as medium, while [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/zinnia/) recommends keeping plants moist as they establish and allowing air circulation around foliage. ## Maintenance Remove faded blooms to encourage further flowering. Leave some seed heads for birds, and avoid crowded, shaded conditions that can favor fungal leaf disease.
