Dreamland™ Mix - Zinnia

Dreamland Mix is a mixed-color annual zinnia with large, dahlia-form flowers. Takii lists Mix as a Dreamland F1 variety and describes the series as early flowering, with plants 8–16 inches tall. ## Garden Use The series is suited to containers and garden plantings, and its large flowers make a bright display in beds and borders. Zinnias can also be used in meadows, pollinator gardens, and cutting gardens. The [Takii Dreamland series](https://takii.com/products/zinnia-f1-dreamland-series/) describes early flowering and large showy blooms; the [NC State Extension Zinnia profile](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/zinnia/) covers these garden uses. ## Growing Conditions Grow in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Keep the soil moist while plants establish, then adjust watering to local rainfall and heat. Good air circulation helps reduce powdery mildew. NC State Extension notes that zinnias attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and songbirds and flower from spring through fall. ## Maintenance Remove faded blooms to encourage more flowers. Leave some seed heads at the end of the season for birds.
