Zahara® Sunburst Zinnia

Zahara® Sunburst is a mounded, upright annual zinnia for sunny beds, borders, and containers. Its 12–18-inch height and spread suit small garden spaces and mixed plantings. ## Growing Conditions Flowers appear in spring, late spring, and summer, and plants mature to 12–18 inches tall and wide. Zinnia marylandica grows in full sun to partial shade and in moist, well-drained soil; clay, loam, sand, and high-organic-matter textures are suitable. The species attracts bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Sunburst is heat- and drought-tolerant and has low water needs. See the [Sunburst profile](https://www.panamseed.com/products/065705333005386/zinnia-zahara-sunburst/) and [NC State's species guide](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/zinnia-marylandica/common-name/zinnia/). ## Maintenance Water to maintain even moisture with good drainage, especially while plants establish, and allow excess water to drain freely. Leave space for airflow and remove faded flowers to encourage continued bloom.
