'Zahara® Double Mix' Zinnia

Double Zahara Mixture brings fully double blooms in cherry, salmon, yellow, fire, and white to compact, mounded plants. The varied palette suits sunny borders, mass plantings, containers, and cutting gardens. ## Growing Conditions PanAmerican describes the Double Zahara series as durable in sunny, hot, and dry conditions and lists this mixture for spring, summer, and autumn flowering. The breeder gives a mature size of 16–20 inches tall and wide. NC State's Zinnia marylandica guide describes full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil, with clay, loam, sand, and organic textures tolerated. The species attracts butterflies and other pollinators. Keep soil moist without leaving it waterlogged, and remove faded flowers to prolong bloom. Zinnia marylandica is a low-maintenance annual when planted in a sunny, well-drained site.
