'Zahara® Double Raspberry Ripple' Zinnia

Double Zahara Raspberry Ripple forms compact, mounded, upright plants with fully double rose-and-white flowers. The balance of rose and white shifts with temperature and flower age, giving the two-tone blooms a changing look through the season. ## Growing Conditions PanAmerican lists this selection for spring, summer, and autumn flowering and gives a mature size of 16–20 inches tall and wide. It performs well in sunny, hot, and dry conditions. NC State describes Zinnia marylandica as growing in full sun to partial shade and in moist, well-drained soil across clay, loam, sand, and organic textures. The species attracts butterflies and other pollinators and is suitable for borders, containers, and cut flowers. See the [Raspberry Ripple breeder profile](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/065705372004450/zinnia-double-zahara-raspberry-ripple/) and [NC State's species guide](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/zinnia-marylandica/common-name/zinnia/). ## Maintenance Space plants for good airflow to reduce powdery mildew pressure. Keep the soil moist with good drainage, and remove faded flowers to extend bloom. This low-maintenance annual is well suited to sunny beds and containers.
