Variegated or Dappled Willow

Dappled leaves feature pink, cream and pale green in the spring. In summer, the leaves are mostly green with white speckles. Cooler weather turns the outer most stems to red, making this shrub interesting year round. Heavy pruning in late winter will keep the shrub compact and encourages better color. No pruning will allow for long, arching branches. Will benefit from some shade in extreme summer heat.
