zzzNeon Burst™ Chartreuse Dogwood

Neon Burst™ is a mounding red twig dogwood with vivid chartreuse foliage and seasonal color from spring into winter. Bronze tones on new leaves, white spring flowers, fall shades of purple, red, yellow and orange, and glossy scarlet winter stems give this selection a changing display. ## Garden Use Plan for about 4–6 ft of height and width. Use it as a specimen, border or foundation shrub, or group it for a mass planting; its rounded habit also suits a large container. ## Growing Conditions Neon Burst™ grows in full sun to part shade and is listed for USDA zones 2–7. It tolerates heat and performs in moist, well-drained soil; keep the root area watered during dry stretches. ## Seasonal Interest Small white flowers appear in spring. Chartreuse leaves hold their bright color in summer, bronze new growth and multicolored fall foliage add contrast, and glossy red stems stand out after leaf drop. ## Maintenance Prune in early spring when needed. Home Nursery recommends early-spring pruning and regular moisture; First Editions lists a mounded 4–6 ft habit and the cultivar’s seasonal foliage colors.
